ENERGY STAR is the simple choice for energy efficiency.
Behind each ENERGY STAR label is a product, building, or home that is independently certified to use less energy and cause fewer of the emissions that contribute to climate change.
ENERGY STAR is a voluntary government program backed by EPA that provides unbiased information to organizations and consumers about cost-effective, energy-efficient products, practices, and services.

Green Built Texas (GBT) is the only green building program tailored specifically for the builders in the great State of Texas. GBT’s Construction Protocol requires homes are built to high standards of water efficiency, indoor air quality, energy efficiency, durability and moisture management and homeowner education. GBT is organized by the Dallas Builders Association, a trade association representing all segments of the residential building industry in the Dallas Metropolitan area. Its mission is to enhance its members ability to provide safe, affordable, quality housing to the citizens of the local communities.
