Green Built Texas (GBT) is the only green building program tailored specifically for the builders in the great State of Texas. GBT’s Construction Protocol requires homes are built to high standards of water efficiency, indoor air quality, energy efficiency, durability and moisture management and homeowner education. GBT is organized by the Dallas Builders Association, a trade association representing all segments of the residential building industry in the Dallas Metropolitan area. Its mission is to enhance its members ability to provide safe, affordable, quality housing to the citizens of the local communities.
